01 — Plan
Before your shoot, we'll get together for a free online consultation to plan an experience around you — from your outfits, props and colours to your theme, studio or location and the ideas you want to bring to life.

02 — Set the Vibe
Once you're ready, we'll put on the music you chose during your consultation, get the vibes going, and ease into the poses we've already discussed. The aim is to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to enjoy your shoot.

03 — Create
Your ideas are welcome here. Whether you've found inspiration on Pinterest, Instagram, or somewhere else, we'll look at how we can make it our own while making sure we capture everything we planned for your shoot.

04 — Celebrate
When you leave, I want you to feel glad that you chose to celebrate yourself properly — professionally, creatively, and in your own style. Because your birthday isn't just another year. It's a day to celebrate you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • That's completely fine. I want you to feel comfortable before you even step into the studio. We'll talk about posing and preparation beforehand, and where helpful, I can send you a few videos for inspiration so you know what to expect. Once we're shooting, I'll also guide you when you need it — you don't need to arrive knowing how to pose.

  • Absolutely. I'm always open to your ideas and inspiration. We can look at what you've saved together and find ways to incorporate those ideas while creating photographs that still feel like your own.

  • Yes. Your birthday session is primarily about you, but one additional person can join you for some photographs. Please let me know within seven days of your online consultation so we can plan what we'd like to create together.

  • Absolutely. Cakes, balloons, flowers and other birthday props can all help personalise your shoot.

    For everyone's safety, please avoid anything involving open flames, drugs, alcohol, smoking or vaping products, sharp objects, heavy items or anything that could create a trip or safety hazard. If you're unsure about a particular prop, just ask beforehand.

  • Your outfit is ultimately your choice — it should represent you. I'll provide guidance beforehand on clothing, colours, and styling that work well on camera, but the final decision is yours.

  • I'll select a suitable studio based on what we discuss during your consultation, including your colours, theme, props and the type of photographs we'd like to create.

    Where studio hire is included in your chosen package, I'll select an option within the included allowance and discuss the studio with you before your shoot.

  • Your finished, professionally edited gallery will normally be delivered within 2–3 weeks of your shoot.

  • Your date is secured once a 50% deposit has been paid. The remaining balance must then be paid no later than seven days before your shoot.
